Inspiration Gallery *MAY BE SPOILERS ON THIS PAGE*

Here are just a few hairstyles, movies, outfits, and photos that inspired me while writing my first book, The Improbable, I hope this sets the perfect scene that you envisioned in your head when reading. Enjoy! :)

TITANIC - HEAVILY INSPIRED Eva and David's relationship. This movie moves me to tears every single time. It's my favorite movie and love story of ALL TIME.

VICTORY ROLLS - After seeing Pearl Harbor, I fell in love with their hairstyles. This is one of my favorites from the time period.

WHITE SWIMSUIT - This bathing suit is the one that inspired Eva's white halter swimsuit that Kate bought for her the night of the party in Ch. 1. What she's wearing when she first meets David. :)

MORE CHAMPAGNE, PLEASE! - From the party in Ch. 1 to the ball in Ch. 11, Eva drinks champagne a lot. I don't drink it much, but when I do.... ;)

JACKET SHIRTS - I searched high and low for an idea of what men wore to swim back in the day, I liked this ensemble. So when David says he draped his jacket shirt over Eva, this is what he means.

WHEELS - Everyone's dream car. Eva's reality car. Eva loves nice cars, which is how she got her dad to buy her this exquisite 1950 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn.

COUNTRY CLUB - This is the Cincinnati Country Club (a previous job of mine). In my days working at the CCC, I would look around and imagine my story happening in front of me. In The Improbable, it's known as 'Chicago's Prestigious City Club'. This is where the ball takes place.

GOLF COURSE - The golf course David and Eva sprint the night of the ball :)

TIMMY'S RIDE - A lot of the guys' (Chris, Timmy, and David) rides take place in this car. Timmy loves speeding and is the best driver of the group.

Sun Hats - Eva is a big fan of sun hats! She's big on fashion in general, you will see ;)

TRAIN YARD - This is where Eva comes when she's fed up with everyone in her life and needs to get away. This is an important place for her, where she takes David the day after he takes her out for ice cream. Also where David and Eva have their first kiss!

SKY FULL OF STARS - This is the very photo that inspired the end of Chapter 21. 

FABULOUS FRIENDS - Everyone back in the day seemed so happy and care free! I loved that about this picture, it reminds me of Eva, Kate, Rita, Sarah, and Yvonne.

FABULOUS FRIENDS (cont'd) - All those legs, ugh so beautiful! Another picture of a fabulous set of friends that reminded me of the Gliteratti.

DAY DRESS - Eva wears dresses a lot of the time, what can I say? Summer in Illinois is blazing hot!

COUNTRY CLUB BAR - In chapter 6, this is where David, Timmy, and Chris come for a drink.

 COUNTRY CLUB PATIO - This is where Eva is sitting outside with Ray in chapter 6 before David comes out and tries to apologize to her.

WITH A SMILE - This is where the end of the book takes place (trying not to spoil it for anyone!)
